Tara and James were brought together by their shared love for seeing happy couples walk down the aisle. Tara’s journey from a girlhood dreamer to a professional planner began as a Wedding Photography Assistant in 2002. Realizing that wedding planning was her true calling, she went on to become a Certified Event Planner and a Registered Minister. In 2013, she joined forces with her husband James and fellow planner Alycia to establish Ybarra Events and have been delighting couples with their creative approach ever since.

Ybarra Events offers a range of easy-to-understand packages to suit all couples’ needs and preferences, with Day-of, Partial and Full-Service Planning options available. The Day-Of Package is ideal for couples who have planned everything but need assistance on the day of the wedding, it includes features such as a preliminary consultation, rehearsal supervision, and itinerary creation. The Full-Service option is perfect for couples who want their planners to handle every detail from vendor hiring to budget management, leaving them free to enjoy their special day.
